Newlyweds in Europe
Where Lt. Green Is
With Armed Forces

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sommers of Baylis Avenue have returned
from an extended visit to Miami Beach where they were the guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Levy, formerly of Pasadena Avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard N. Simons sailed last week for a tour
of European countries.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Pritz of Fairfield Avenue returned from
Miami Beach, Fla., where they were guests for the entire Passover.
Dr. and Mrs. Fritz Kleesdat, residents of Bnei Brak, Israel, are
now visiting in Detroit as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. David Silver,
2'710 Burlingame. Mrs. Kleesdat is the sister of Mr. Silver. In
Bnei Brak, Dr. Kleesdat contributes his services to the Home for
the Aged and to the schools of the community. Dr. and Mrs.
Kleesdat will remain in Detroit until May 8.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin B. Katz, of Leslie Ave., have as their house
guests Mrs. Katz's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Winnick, former
Detroiters now of Los Angeles, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kaplan, of Woodingham Dr., have returned
home after an extended vacation in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Winneg, of Brockton, Mass., are in
Detroit visiting their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Albert
M. Posen, of 19466 Pinehurst, and their granddaughters, Barbara

rector of piano at the Fox Hol-
low School in Lennox, Mass.
Well known for her talent in
Detroit, Miss Lipkin achieved
recognition here at an early age
when she appeared as soloist
with the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra. She will next appear in
concert in Detroit in June.
The Fulbright Award was
granted following submission of
recordings of her piano work,
copies of programs she has play-
ed and recommendations from
musicians and teachers.
