Increase Goal of Local
School. Clothing Program

Because of increased needs of
the school clothing program, a
goal of 135 tons of used shoes
and clothing has been set for
the Spring School Clothing
Drive which continues. through
May 7. This is 10 tons more than
was 'sought in the drive last fall.
The announcement was made
by James J. Cruikshank, prin-
cipal of Northern High School,
who is drive chairman. Sponsor
of the drive is Detroit 'Public
schools Social Service, Inc., of
which Cruikshank is president.
