Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Fishman of 2945 Webb are vacationing
in Miami Beach, Fla., where they will remain for five weeks.

are vacationing in Miami Beach.
Seymour Levine was honored at a stag dinner party April 16
at the Fort Shelby Hotel, by a group of friends, who extended
their good wishes for his forthcoming marriage to Lois Ernstein.
Mrs. Samuel E, Danto, 26725 Hendrie Blvd., Huntington Woods,
Mich.. and Mrs, Mayer B. Sulzberger, 123 Puritan, members of the
executive board of the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods,
will participate in its annual meeting at national headquarters
in New York in the House of Living Judaism-Berg Memorial, April
26 to 30. Mrs. Danto is a member of the organization's 'depart-
ment on advancement of Judaism and Mrs. Sulzberger is a mem-
ber of the department on religion and. education. These groups
wilt also meet in connection with the Executive Board meeting.
Mr. and Mrs, Charles Goldstein of Los Angeles are visiting
their children, Mr, and Mrs. Emanuel Bauman of San Juan Dr. and
Mrs. Harold Bordman of Woodingham, for the Passover week.
•Louis Marshall BBYW gave a party for a children's ward at
the Children's Hospital April 17. Toys were distributed and a
magic show was put on by Mel Eizenberg and Ruth Krandall

Sherman Family Club held its Seder Sunday night at the
home of Dr. and Mrs. Phil Sherman. Sixty members and their
families attended, The out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs.
Max Levenstein of Los Angeles, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Lewis and
family of Chicago, Mrs. Sam Fox and family of Lansing. The
next meeting will be held at the home of Jean and Earl Lorber
on May 2.
Harry Modell was host to a group of Suburban Temple men
at a cocktail party and supper at his home on Huntington Road
in Huntington Woods, Monday night. The purpose of the affair
was to permit the fund raising committee, Harry Modell, Mannie
Fishman and Maxwell Jospey, to discuss with the group the fi-
nancing of the proposed Temple building.
Dr. and Mrs. Samuel B. Danto of Huntington Woods and Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Fried of W. Seven Mile Road, spent 17 days aboard
the Nieuw Amsterdam ship on a cruise which included stop-avers
in Virgin Islands, Barbados. Genanda, Trinidad, Caracus, Curaco,
Dutch West Indies, Panama and Havana, Cuba.
