NEW YORK, (JTA)—A para-
chute drop of Passover foods
and religious supplies flown by
helicopter to a handful of Amer-
ican Jewish GIs on U.S. post T-3,
the floating iceberg island 300
miles from the North Pole, will
typify the Passover arrange-
ments in remote areas of the
world to be carried out this year
by the National Jewish Welfare
Board.

its first export shipment of beer
posts and stations in Korea, the for the U. S.
Far East and Europe are part of
Louis Herzberg, owner and
JWB's total Passover prepara-
tions including mass seders to be
conducted by more than 300 full
and part-time Jewish chaplains
in the U.S. and abroad. Kosher
foods and religious supplies were
shipped by JWB for the holiday
services to be held at posts in
Europe, Africa, Asia and at 600
camps and veterans hospitals in
the U.S.

built workshops for small man-
ufacturers and artisans, as well
as modern stores and apart-
ments, are offered for lease or
sale in Haifa, Jerusalem, and
other parts of Israel by the
Palestine Land Development Co.

ticipating in the venture through
the American - Haifa Develop-
ment Corporation of New York
which has purchased the first
three factory buildings, one of
which is already fully occupied.
American-Haifa has leased the
workroom units to a number of
artisans and manufacturers for
periods of two to three years.
The factory buildings sell for
$15,000 each. The price of a
500-square-foot workroom unit
is $2,800.
PLDC is also offering a num-
ber of four - room apartments
and stores in a new eight-story
elevator building on King
