Playing With Dolls Is Serious Business For Jewish War Veterans' Auxiliary 100 Teachers Licensed To Teach in Day Schools NEW YORK, (JTA)—More than 100 Yeshiva teachers re- ceived their teacher's license at a ceremony at Torah Umesorah headquarters, thus becoming eli- gible to teach in Orthodox Day Schools throughout the country. The requirements for these Yeshiva licenses were set during the past year by a Principals' Commission comprised of prin- cipals of leading Jewish Ortho- dox day schools throughout the United States. The need for special licensing for the intensive educational program of day schools has long been felt by Day School admin- istrators and was given impetus by the unceasing requests of local federations and bureaus of education for the licensing of Yeshiva personnel.
