Fruit of the Bible
A Favorite Today

If we watch our youngsters as
they join in the Seder night and
Passover festivities, enjoy the
traditional Passover treats, it is
not too difficult to project into
the past and picture children of
2,000 or 3,000 years ago greeting
the holiday with much the same
joy and reverence, the ; same
sense of anticipation as we do.
Then, as now, sweets were a
special treat for the children
and an important part of tra-
ditional celebration. Then, as
now, luscious, golden-brown
dates grown in the Biblical re-
gions were the traditional sweet
at Passover.
These are the dates Dromedary
brings you as the ideal sweet for
your holiday table. Today, with
a 5,000 year pedigree, Dromedary
Dates. have a delicate taste and
firm, meaty texture, a quality
unsurpassed in the entire history
of the cultivation of this fruit,
all purified by an exclusive
Dromedary pasteurization pro-
cess.
Dromedary Dates, in the fa-
miliar cellophane-wrapped yel-
low package, are featured for
Passover at all food stores, in
8 ounce and 1 pound sizes.
