Prior to her marriage to Paul Lesansky on April 4, in Windsor,
Miss Roberta Nan Pazner was recently entertained at a miscel-
laneous shower in the Mayfair Room given by her aunts, Mes-
dames L. Bookspan, L. Mandell and her sister, Mrs. N. Rubin.
Miss Pazner also was entertained at a personal shower at Mario's
in Windsor, given by the Misses Ann. Rosen and Beverly Lesansky.
At a recent party given by Dr. and Mrs. Ted Winshall, of
17210 James Couzens, in honor of the 10th birthday of their .son,
Walter, 35 children and their parents were entertained. Out-of-
town guests were Mrs. 'William Joseph and Ethelle Joseph, of
New York City.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ackerman, of this city, have returned
from a motor trip to Florida and California.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Gordon, of 19162 Wisconsin, recently
honored their daughter, Irene Janet, on the occasion of her six-
teenth birthday with a luncheon at Carl's Chop House. Helping
her celebrate were Misses Joyce Berman, Naomi Cohen, Barbara
Frank, Deayane Fleichman, Lois Gray, Shirley Goldstein, Eileen
Harelik, Helen Levine, Harriet Mackie, Joyce Palmer, Naomi Pelty,
Leah Please, Elaine Raick, Shirley Rubin, Natalie Rosengard,
Sybil Schreiber, Lois Weinberger, Barbara Zelmon and Mesdames
Isabel Rubin, Betty RUtiln, Ida Hill, Marian Gordon, Sara Levine,
Dora Cantor, Edith Katz, Ida Stein, Frances Fleichman, Irene
Green, Ann Alberstam, Belle Weinberg, Sara Levenson, Rose

Mr. and Mrs. Morrey H. Shepherd and daughters, Judy and
Lorraine, formerly of Cortland Ave., are now residing in their
new home at 19767 Sorrento.
Mrs. Hattie Newman, of W. Outer Dr., has returned home after
an extended visit with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Max Grossman, of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Mt. Vernon,
N. Y., and other friends in the city.
