president of Hadassah, an-
nounces that the American af-
fairs and education program,
"News and Views" will be a "Five
Star" event. It will be presented
March 9, at Temple Beth El,
and will be open to the public.
The 10:30 a.m., session will
highlight audience questions on
Hadassah, American affairs, in-
ternal and external, the rela-
tionship to
America and
other people
wherever they
may be.

The afternoon meeting will
commence at 1:30 p.m., when Leo
Schwartz, author of "The Many
Caravans," will present "News
and Views on the Contemporary
Jewish Scene." Chapter educa-
tion chairman, Mrs. Max Chom-
sky will preside.
A box lunch will be served.

Bnai Brith Women
To End Membership
Campaign March 15

Mrs. Bernard Bleifield, mem-
bership retention chairman, and
Mrs. Philip Fealk, membership
chairman of the Greater Detroit
Women's Council of Bnai Brith,
in a joint statement this week
announced that March 15 will
mark the culmination of the
present membership campaign.
All local chapters are holding
their final teas this week. Plans
and schedules for the following
chapters are reported herewith:
DONALD FOX—A ladies' night
program has been slated. for
8:30 p.m., Thursday, at United
Friendship Hall, 3225 • Fenkell.
A free gift will be given to all

BRANDEIS CHAPTER — "Did
You Say Mink?" will be the fea-
ture of a program at 8:30 p.m.,

Turover Aid Surprises
Honeymans with Party

At a recent meeting of Tur-
over Aid Society, Mr. and Mrs.
Julius Honeyman, members of
the organization for 37 years,
were honored with a surprise
testimonial party.
At that time, plans were an-
nounced for the organization's
annual Mo'os Hitim dinner,
which has been scheduled for
April 4 and from which pro-
ceeds will provide needy fami-
lies with Passover packages.
J. Garelick, toastmaster, in-
troduced many speakers who
lauded the couple for work ac-
complished for numerous local
groups. Louis Levine, guest
speaker, praised the couple's en-
deavors in behalf of the Hista-
drut drive. A chest of silver was
given to the Honeymans by Tur-
over for their long years of serv-
ice.
