Sholem Aleichem School
To Graduate Nursery Tots

NCCJ Travel Seminar
Will Include Israel

The Sholem Aleichem School
is arranging special graduation
exercises for a group of nursery
school children, to take place at
2 p.m., Thursday, in the school
auditorium, 18495 Wyoming, an-
nounces Moishe Haar, director.
Because of the demand of
parents and because of expan-
sion of school facilities, another
first grade class is being formed
for the new semester, which will
begin on Jan. 31.
Morning nursery facilities are
also in the process of expansion
in order to accommodate more
children. Interested parents
should contact the Sholem
Aleichem Institute, 18495 Wyom-
ing, DI. 1-2552.

An intercultural travel semi-
nar to Europe and the Holy
Land, the first of its kind ever
sponsored for Protestant, Catho-
lic and Jewish religious leaders
and educators, has been organi-
zed by the National Conference
of Christians and Jews.
The seminar, to be held from
June 28 to Aug. 6, will inaugu-
rate a new experiment in in-
tergroup education, according to
Allyn Robinson, director of the
NCCJ Commission on Religious
Organizations, who will lead the
summer study project.
Participants in the travel
seminar will visit key cities in
12 different countries. The group
will leave New York for Copen-
hagen on June 28, returning
via London and Glasgow on
Aug. 5 to New York .
Focal points of the seminar
will be Israel, Rome and Geneva
where the American leaders will
visit religious shrines and con-
fer with top Jewish, Catholic
and Protestant figures.
