American Savings to Open

Association has taken over the
northeast corner of Seven Mile

constructing its new branch
there. Adolph Deutsch, presi-

a lounge area and meeting place
for anyone that . cares to use its
facilities. Comfortable furniture
is being provided as a service
to those who just want to come
in and sit down.
Organized in 1946 by some of
Detroit's leading citizens as a
public service, American Sav-
ings' assets now exceed $20,000,-
