Dawn Demont, daughter , of
Mrs. Carl Demont, of Warring-
ton Dr., and the late Mr. De-
mont, was joined in matrimony
on Jan. 2 to Irwin J. Levine, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Levine,
of Manhattan Beach, N. Y.
The ceremony, conducted in
the Gold and White Room of
New York's Plaza Hotel, was per-
formed by Rev. David Putter-
man, of Park Avenue Temple.
Following, there was a dinner
for 50 relatives in the hotel.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her brother, Cy-
rus Demont, wore a gown of
deep candlelight satin, which
ended in a cathedral train. Her
full-length rose-pointe lace veil
was an heirloom of 300 years,
worn by the royal family of
Vienna. It was worn previously
by the bride's mother at her
wedding.
Mrs. Levine is an alumna of
the University of Michigan, and
also attended the American
Academy of Dramatic Arts. Mr.
Levine is an alumnus of Brook-
lyn College, Parsons School of
Design and attended the Sor-
bonne in Paris, France.
Following a honeymoon to
Bermuda, the couple will reside
in New York City.
