dessert luncheon meeting at
12:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Davi-
son Jewish Center.
Featured at the program will
be Mrs. Morris Adler, who will
review the JNF's work during
the past half a century of serv-
ice to Israel in a talk entitled
"A History of the Jewish Nation-
al Fund."
Hostesses for the luncheon
meeting will be Mesdames Jack
Grossbart, Jack Henckin and
Irving Bloom. Mrs. Nathan
Rosin is the day's chairman.
Donor plans have all but been
completed, it was announced
this week by Mrs. Abraham
Scheuer, chairman of the event,
which will be held at 1 p.m., Jan.
27, at Adas Shalom Synagogue.

At the annual meeting of the
Beth Abraham Synagogue's Cem-
etery Association, the following
officer's were elected and install-
ed to head the organization dur-
ing 1954:
Louis Ellenbogen, president;
William A. Genser, vice-presi-
dent and superintendent; Jacob
Greenberg, treasurer; Louis
Last, secretary. Rabbis Joseph
Thumim and Israel I. Halpern
• and Morris Mohr assisted in the
installation.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellenbogen re-
cently were presented gifts from
the synagogue and its Sister-
hood in recognition of their con-
tributions to the groups. Rabbi
and Mrs. Halpern made the re-
spective presentations.
An election meeting also was
held by the Free Loan Associa-
tion of the synagogue, at which
Morris Indianer was installed
president by Rabbi Halpern. In-
dianer will be assisted by Sam-
uel Greenberg, vice-president;
Joseph Lenhard, treasurer; and
Jacob Reifler, secretary.

Organizes Study Circle
