Seminary Drive `Kick-Of f' Monday

The Detroit Friends of the
Seminary will "kick off" the
1953-54 campaign Monday eve-
ning, with a parlor meeting at
the home of Samuel B. Solomon,
a chairman of the 'drive.
A feature of the meeting will
be the presentation of a cita-
tion to Mr. Solomon for his
service as a leader of the De-
troit campaign. Louis Berry,
chairman with Solomon of the
Detroit Seminary F riends, will
preside. Rabbi Morris Adler will
be the speaker.
A Seminary film, "And the
Bush Was Not Consumed," will
be shown.
Parlor meetings at the homes
of Theodore M. Curtis and Sol
Eisenberg, co-chairmen of the
Seminary Friends, are scheduled
as part of the 195t-54 campaign.
A Seminary night at Shaarey
Zedek on Jan. 7 will be pre-

man Rom awarded 27 silver pin
and book prizes to women bring-
