A dinner honoring the Bar Mitzvah of Ronald Arthur Bortman
was given by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe C. Bortman, of 18273
Monte Vista, on Saturday evening, in the AdaS Shalom Synagogue
social hall. The ceremony was observed that morning, in the
synagogue.

daughter of Mrs. Nathan Charles
Dorf, of Elmhurst Ave., and the
late Mr. Dorf, became the bride
of Irving William Rozian, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Herman William
Rozian, of Granet St., Hazel
Park. Rabbi Jacob E. Segal per-
formed the double-ring cere-
mony.
The bride's gown was of can-
dlelight satin with lace appliqued
on the skirt, sleeves and bo-
dice, and was fashioned with a
low sweetheart neckline and
sleeve points edged in seed
pearls and sequins. Extending
from the long torso of the bo-
dice, unpressed pleats fell into
a short train. Her veil of illusion
fell from a coronet headpiece,
edged with matching seed pearls,
and her flowers were white
orchids and trailing stephanotis.
Mrs. Arnold Dorf, the bride's
sister-in-law, was matron of
honor, and Arnold Dorf, the
bride's brother, was best man
Seating the guests were George
Sarver, Norman Egren and Rich-
ard Egrin, cousins of the bride.
Following a reception in Holi-
day Manor, the couple left for a
wedding trip to the Upper Pe-
ninsula. They are making their
home at 15368 Mark Twain.
