Rabbi - Morri Adier: Tribute On Fifteen Years of Service By CHARLES RUBINER Holiday Festivities On Home's Calendar Several special events will be featured this month on t h e agenda of the Jewish Hbme for Aged. Hanukah will be the theme of many of the programs. The holiday season was in- augurated this week with the lighting of candles and evening prayers. Cantor Ernest Green- field and his choir led the serv- ices, and Rabbi Max J. Wohlgel- ernter spoke on the Hanukah celebration. A party for residents w a s given Thursday by the Music Study Club, and gifts were dis- tributed by the Women's Auxil- iary. The Shaarey Zedek Girl Scout Troop, directed by Mrs. Melvin Gerson, will provide entertain- ment at the Home's monthly birthday party on Wednesday, and will present gifts made by the Troop. On Dec. 16, Mrs. Samuel Le- vine will read to residents from Yiddish literature; on Dec. 23, Rabbi Samuel Prero will address residents on "The Spiritual Sat- isfaction of Old Age;" and on Dec. 30, in honor of Jewish Book Month, Wolfe Snyder will speak on "The Poet Mani Leib."
