Donin received his early educa-
tion at Yeshivah Rabbi Israel
Salanter and the Talmudical
High School, the preparatory di-
vision of Yeshiva University.
He was graduated from the
College of Liberal Arts and
Sciences of Yeshiva University,
where he was active in extra-
curricular activities and received
his B. A. degree cum laude,
majoring in sciences. Subse-
quently, he earned an M. A. de-
gree in guidance and counselling
from Columbia University:.
He was ordained as Rabbi in
June, 1951, and was granted
"Semicha" at the Isaac Elchanan
Theological Seminary of Yeshiva
University.
