10 Technion Engineers Here
On Apprenticeship Program

NEW Y O R K, (JTA)—Ten
graduate engineers from the
Technion, Israel's Institute of
Technology in Haifa, arrived
aboard the S.S. Jerusalem prior
to beginning a year of work in
American industrial plants.
Brought here under the ap-
prentice trainee program of the
American 'Technion society, the
Israeli engineers will be placed
in specific positions so that they
may acquire American indus-
trial know-how to help them
direct Israel's vast program of
industrialization when they re-
turn to their native country.
