nounces the completion of plans
for the organization's annual
donor luncheon on Dec. 8, at the
Sheraton Cadillac Hotel.
Assisting her in planning the
event are Mesdames Abe Nus-
holtz, pledge chairman; Joseph
Staub, journal; Joseph Lee, • co-
chairman; Abe Ilson, tickets;
Jack Greenberg, Milton Green-
blatt, donor secretaries; Leonard
Shapiro, memoriams; William
Kadushin, darlings; and Sam,
Cohen, publicity.
Zedakah Club, which for over
a quarter of a century has aided
needy aged and sick individuals,
depends on funds from the do-
nor to carry out its work: Rec-
ognized for useful service by the
Jewish Social Service Bureau and
other local agencies, the group
frequently is called upon to help
people by providing such neces-
sities as coal, milk and even
rent.
Under. Mrs. Jack Miller, the
group's Volunteer case worker; a
program of assistance has been
set up whereby after only pre-
liminary examination, aid is
provided. The organization
boasts "no red tape."

of the Women's Division, Sholem
Aleichem- Institute, announces
that the organization's annual
donor luncheon, to be held at
12:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Holi-
day Manor, will feature Chicago
artist Nita Shelah Herzon, who
will present an original drama-
tization, "Women of the Bible."
Local artists Sadie Braver and
Lillian Zellman also will be high-
lighted on the program. A pre-
donor hospitality program of
melody will be given Saturday
evening, at the home of Cantor
and Mrs. Judah Goldring.
