MRS. HERBERT RACKLIN

Rabbi Morris Adler officiated
at the candlelight ceremony on
Oct. 25, which united in marri-1
age Eileen Blake, daughter of ,
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Blake, of
Sturtevant Ave., and Herbert
Racklin, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Jacob Racklin, of Rankin Blvd.,
Windsor. The nuptials were sol-
emnized in Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
Dinner and a reception followed.
The bride's .gown was an orig-
inal of ivory satin with scalloped
lace forming the off-the-should-
er neckline. The satin bodice
fell in soft - pleats extending to
a bouffant skirt, which was
caught at the hem by satin
rosebuds to expose the chantilly
lace cathedral train.
Her three tiered viel of illu-
sion fell from a coronation
crown of ivory orange blossoms.
To complete her costume, she
carried three white orchids,
sprays of phae lanopsis and
streams of stephanotis atop a
white Bible.
Assisting her sister as maid of
honor was Estelle Blake. Ellen
Kerwin, a cousin of the bride,
was flower-girl, and bridesmaids
were Mrs. Florence Pais, Mrs.
Ruth Stockler, Mrs. Rose Blake,
