man at Detroit's Annual Boys'
Day Convention, with Miles Hur

manager. Phil served as coun
cilman on Oct. 16, which Mayor
Cobo officially proclaimed "Boys'
Day."
To start the day, Councilman

cials, were escorted by the police
to the office of Mayor Cobo
where they were sworn in and
attended a meeting of the Corn-
mon. Council. A luncheon given
by the Junior Chamber of Com-
merce, a tour of the Detroit
waterfront on a fireboat, an in-
spection of the police and fire
departments and a dinner
