and Nita Shelah Herzon, the lat-
ter from Chicago, Ill., will be
featured on the afternoon's pro-
gram.
ADAS SHALOM SISTERHOOD
will celebrate its ninth anniver-
sary with a birthday luncheon
for paid-up members at 12:30
p.m., Nov. 9, in the synagogue
social hall, announces Mrs. Her-
bert L. Harris, president. A can-
dlelighting ceremony will be fol-
lowed by piano selections by
Mrs. Norman Allan and choral
singing,, under the direction of
Mrs. Joseph Markel. New mem-
bers will be formally inducted,
and a year's membership given
to new brides, stated Mrs.
Charles Charlip, membership
chairman.

canned goods drive on. Nov. 8,
in the Dexter area. Residents
are asked to cooperate by hav-
ing cans ready for the girls to
pick up. All types of canned
goods will be accepted, and la-
