Happy New Year
Behold" how good and how pleasant it is,
for brethren to dwell in unity!
PSALMS 133:1
Brotherhood is a warm word,. with a meaning
that reaches back to the very starting points
of the human race. The New Year is a
moment when the word comes back in all its
ancient power, reminding us all to renew our
pledges to one another.
The American Road is in itself a symbol of
,
brotherhood among peoples: it is not just a
string of bridges or endless miles of pave••
ment. This is a way of life, for roads art
unions which bring people together.
To the Ford Mofor Company the American
Road is symbolic of the endless search for
progress toward a better life for all mankind.
