.JNF to Provide
Holiday Stamps
To All Synagogues
The Detroit Council of the
Jewish National Fund will this
year again provide all syna-
gogues in the city with JNF High
Holiday stamps.
The JNF Council's synagogue
committee has appealed to in-
dividual congregations and their
seating committees to attach a
stamp to every ticket sold.
"The JNF stamps," said Dan-
iel Temchin who recently re-
turned from Israel to spearhead
the stamp sale, "are sold in
thousands of synagogues before
the High Holidays, and provide
sufficient funds to redeem large
and strategic areas in Israel foi
the Jewish people.
"It is imperative that this
land be bought immediately or
we may lose the opportunity we
now have, and may not have
later," Temchin added.
Synagogues not having receiv-
ed their supplies of stamps are
urged to call the JNF office, TO.
8-7384.
