Out-of-town guests who were here to attend the dedication of
The Jewish News Building included Mitchell Gandal and Robert
Gandal of Cleveland, Mr. and Mrs. Yosef Schub of Chicago and Dr.
and Mrs. Israel M. Goldman of Baltimore.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kleinberg and family, of Leslie Ave., have
as their house guests their cousins, Mrs. Laura Coven and daugh-
ter, Harriett, of Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Coven formerly resided in De-
troit.
Mr. and Mrs. L. Bordoley and children, Carol and Martin,
formerly of Elmhurst Ave., are now residing at 3345 Sturtevant.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Abraham Neuman, of Huntington Woods,
Mich:, have returned home after spending seven months as the
house guests of Mrs. Neuman's sister in Sydney, Australia. En
route home, they stopped at Hawaii where they spent three weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred A. Helfgott and daughters, Lue and Sylvia,
have returned to this area after residing for three years in West
Hartford, Conn. Their new address is 24241 Moritz, Oak Park. Miss
Lue Helfgott, who attended the University of Connecticut for two
years, is currently enrolled at Wayne University. Her sister will
leave in September for U. of Connecticut where she will be a
freshman student.
Mr. and Mrs. David L. Susser, former Detroiters now of Los
Angeles, Calif., were honored guests here at the annual moonlight
cruise of the Omega Social Club, to which the Sussers belonged
while residing here.
Dr. and Mrs. Leo Orecklin of Oak Drive returned last Satur-
day from a vacation in the West Indies.

funds, Detroit Chapter of Hadas-
sah has scheduled an early
fund-raising drive. Mrs. Samuel
Rhodes, vice-president of Honor
Roll, announces the launching
of the Honor Roll Drive on Sept.
22, at Temple Israel.
A briefing meeting will be held
on Sept. 15, and Honor Roll kits
will be distribUted at Group
meetings on Sept. 16. A spe-
cial variety
show is being
planned by Mrs.

for the $100 din-
ner, to be held

The year's membership drive

Mizrachi Women Plan
Cash, Linen Shower

Sisters of Zion Mizrachi will
hold a cash gift and linen show-
er at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, at
Young Israel Center. The affair
is being given in response to an
appeal to re-stock Mizrachi
Women's institutions in Israel.
The prograth will also serve to
honor Mrs: Isaac Rosenthal,
child restoration chairman, on her
return from a trip to the Jewish
state where she toured various
institutions under Mizrachi aus-
pices.
Serving as afternoon hostesses

Island, Lake Louise and Banff.
