Held in Sheraton At Wayne U. ____ Rutfor Only 2 Weeks Dr. Joseph H. Levin is joining his father, Prof. Samuel M. Levin, as an instructor at Wayne University. The association will be short, however, since the son will be here for only two weeks while serving as a discussion leader in a course dealing with computer components. Prof. Levin has been a mem- ber of the faculty of Wayne for many years in the school of economics. Dr. Levin, who is associated with the Raytheon Manufactur- ing Co. of Massachusetts, is one of a staff of nationally promi- nent experts on electronic com- puters brought to Wayne to lec- ture during the two-week sum- mer course, which runs through Aug. 21. Dr. Levin, a graduate of Wayne, received his Ph.D. de- gree in mathematics in 1940 from the University of Chicago. From 1945 to 1952, he was as- sociated in a directing capacity with the electronic computer branches of the Aberdeen Prov- ing Grounds and the National Bureau of Standards. Since September, 1952, he has been an important figure in the new established computing department of t h e Raytheon Co., a leading manufacturer in the electronic equipment field.
