A new catalogue of 16 mm.
educational filMs comprising a
selection of the best available
movies on human relations,
community relations, democracy,
American history and mental
health has just been published
by the film division of • the
American Jewish Committee.
The Catalogue, titled "Selected
List of ,Human Relations Films,"
is a revised and enlarged edition
of a list first issued in 1950 and
used widely by schools, libraries,
and •omniunity• organizations.
The new catalogue lists 160
films together with their dis-
tributors, briefly synopsizes the
story of each, and indicates the
educational level for which the
film is intended.

REMODELED MENORAH CHAPEL ON PURITAN
The newly-organized Menorah
Funeral Chapel at 3800 Puritan
plans to publish an abridged
form of Rabbi Joshua S. Sper-
ka's bOok, "Eternal Life".
This book was originally writ-
ten by Rabbi Sperka in 1939 and
it is a digest of all laws of
mouring. The book was printed
by the Jewish Publishing Soci-
ety and published by the Bloch
Publishing Co., of New York.
The publishers, on releasing
this book, had written, "No pre-
vious volume on this subject in
English contains such consistent
and complete information. Its
popular presentation of the fun-
damental principles, practices,
customs and laws of mourning,
supported by source material
will prove most valuable to lay-
man, student and Rabbi."
In this volume is found every
law touching upon this subject,
a rare digest systematically ar-
ranged from Talmud, "Yoreh
Deoh" early and later Poskim,
all prayers and services in Heb-

significance of all customs and
ceremonies; such correlated
