The many friends of William
Kaplan, f o r m e r Detroiter, a
prominent attorney who was as-
sociated in practice here with
Wililam Henry Gallagher, passed
away July 8 in Los Angeles. He
was 56.
Mr. Kaplan was well known
here for his communal interests
and his legal attainments.
He is survived by . his wife,
Ann; a son, Richard, who is
studying in New York; a daugh-
ter, Mrs. Judith Friedman, also
of New York; one grandchild;
two sisters, Mrs. Etta Klein of
Detroit and Mrs. Lillian Cort of
Los Angeles; and three brothers,
Lazarus, Paul and Dr. Robert,
all of Detroit.

Bendetson Netzorg Dies

Bendetson Netsorg, one of De-
troit's best known musicians,
died Monday at the age of 73.
A native of Mecosta, Mich., he
began to play the violin at the
age of 6 but later turned to the
piano and became nationally
known as a pianist.
Funeral services were held at
Kaufman's Wednesday. He is
survived by three sisters, Mes-
dames James W. Kerr of Wald-
wick, N. J., Joseph Robinove and
Herbert Goldsmith of Detroit.

their work in the battle against
tuberculosis in the past ten
years. Drs. Daniel Schiffrin and
Gregorio Sirlin were honored by
the director and staff of the
Tornu Polyclinic Hospital here.
