There are several members of
the goodfellowship Women's
Auxiliary who have learned
first-hand the perils of polio.
Their children have suffered
with it, and fortunately they
I have recovered.
They learned, like others in
similar straits, that it is quick
action by the National Founda-
tion for Infantile Paralysis
which enabled their children to
show no scars from the disease.
Although the work of the 36
members is dedicated through-
out the year to supporting the
work of the March of Dimes, a
special program has been ar-
ranged this year, with all pro-
ceeds going specifically to fight
polio.
The event, a games party, is
scheduled for 8 p.m., July 29, in
the Mayfair Room, and will
feature prizes, awards and re-
freshments. A special appeal
has been issued by the women
to all Detroit mothers to attend

paralysis.
