TION will hold a special meet-
ing at 12:30 p.m., Monday, at the

do. Plans will be made for a

day's meeting.

recently honored Mrs. Isaac
Rosenthal at a luncheon prior
to her trip to Israel where she
will visit Mizrachi homes and
ins t i t u t ions. Mrs. Rosenthal,
chairman of the child restora-
tion fund, will take a cash gift
to Israel as a present to the
Mizrachi Women's Institutions.
Funds from a recent garden
party will go to the same cause.

CITY OF HOPE CANCER
FIGHTERS has formed a dra-
matic group under the direction
of Goidle Young, a veteran of
20 years of acting on the Yiddish
stage. Those interested in join-

Mr. Wiener attended Brown
University, majoring in Philos-
ophy, and recently was gradu-
ated from the Columbia Univer-
sity Law School. He is a member
of the Brown Club in New
York, and is about to enter the
armed forces: A December wed-
ding is planned.

During July and August acti-
vities will continue at the Jewish
Home for Aged, with games
twice weekly, record concerts,
music appreciation hours, arts
and crafts, and the sheltered
workshop. Religious classes and
groups will meet regularly.
Outdoor movies to be shown
on the Home's roof garden Wed-
nesday evenings include newest
films from Israel. During July
these include "Flight to Israel,"
"Sholom Israel," "Deed and
Dreams," "Tent City," "Transi-
tion," and "Harvest from the
Waters." Other films include
"Grandma Moses," "The Great
Waltz" and "Life in the Home!"
These films are obtained through
the Jewish Welfare Federation,
the Jewish Council and the De-
troit Public Library.
The July birthday party will
feature entertainment by Renee
Studios.

Annette Zeidman will direct

Chapter of Junior Hadassah
