Detective Hutcherson Gets Probus
Award to Study Human Relations

,
A fellowship was awarded to Detective Tim Hutcherson at a
ceremony at Police Headquarters. The award, made available by
the Probus Club in cooperation with the Jewish Community
Council, will enable the police officer to attend a Workshop in
Human Relations and Group Guidance at St. Louis University.
Annually one or more Detroit police officers are sent to such work-
shops, to study race relations problems and their application to
police work, on fellowships provided by Probus Club, an organiza-
tion of Detroit business and professional men which engages in
civic and philanthropic activities. Hutcherson was nominated for
this year's award by the Police Department. In the photo from

Israel Ministers Must
Reside in Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, (JTA)—A de-
cision that all members of
the Israel Cabinet must re-
side in Jerusalem was reiter-
ated at a meeting of the
Cabinet. It was decided to
provide flats in Jerusalem as
soon as possible for those
members of the Cabinet who
do not reside in the city be-
cause of lack of accommoda-
tions.. A similar decision was
also taken with regard to
members of the Supreme
Court.
Following this decision, in-
structions were issued to the
respective government de,
partments to find adequate
accommo dations in Jeru-
salem.
The establishment of a
special Ministry for Jeru-
salem was demanded in the
Knesset by Benjamin Mintz,
Poale Agudah leader.
