The 13 volunteers are among
140 Detroiters who were honor-
ed at the luncheon for having
served UCS agencies for 35

Ford Grant to Hebrew U.

A grant of $266,000 has been
allotted by the Ford Foundation
to finance research projects in
Israel wholly or partly conduct-
ed by the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem, it is reported by Dr.
George S, Wise, president of
American Friends of the Hebrew
University. He emphasized that
the research to by supported un-
der the grant will consist en-
tirely of special projects which
will not affect the operational
maintenance budget and deficit
of the University.
