Shulman of Webb Ave. Daniel Elazar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Elazar, left this week for Israel, on a scholarship of summer's study in the Jewish Agency Summer Institute. In the fall, Daniel will enter the Uni- versity of Chicago as a junior, on a scholarship. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hoffman of Monterey Ave. honored their daughter, Florence, on her 17th birthday, with a luncheon, June 20, for 25 guests. Mrs. Irving Arlin recently was honored as outgoing president at a luncheon given by the 'officers and board members of t PTO of Rose Sittig Cohen branch \of United Hebrew Schools. Miss Shyrlee Bloom was guest of honor at a recent party given by her brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. Stuart Kar- mann,. at their home, 20108 Cheyenne.
