Four Finalists to Vie
For Luloff 'Scholarship

Four young pianists will com-
pete at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, at
the Women's City Club as final-
ists in the Music Study Club's
Gwladis Luloff Memorial Schol-
arship contest.
The talented musicians are
Lois Pachucki, Charles Shock,
Helen Mendelsohn and • Dorothy
Pixley, who survived competi-
tion with 19 applicants in May.
Judges :will be- well - known
musicians from Detroit, Mich-
igan State College and the Uni-
versity of Michigan. The win-
ner will be officially presented
the award at the Club's annual
Gwladis Luloff 'meeting in Nov-
ember.

Davison Center Plans
Summer Progeams
For All the Family

Geared to meet the needs and
interests of juniors, tweens and
teens, a three-way .summer pro-
gram will highlight activities . at
the Davison Jewish Center.
Tweens will gather at the Cen-
ter and leave for such program-
med activities as fishing trips,
park outings, Tiger ball games,
on Monday and Wednesday af-
ternoons.
The juniors, every Tuesday
and Thursday afternoon, will
feature a variety of activities,
run on a weekly basis so that
those who plan to be -in the
Day Camp or 'Fresh Air Camp
will also have an opportunity to
participate.
Special activities for this age
group include picnics, a day at
Belle Isle ,and the Children's
Zoo, arts and crafts and visits
to places of interest in and
around Detroit.

Monday and Wednesday eve-•
ning will include outdoor movies,
dances, evening picnics and out-
ings.
Tuesday night during the
summer will be midweek family
night. It will feature a program
for the whole family. Some of
-the plans include movies, swim-
ming at the Woodward Center
and skating.
The game room will continue
open every day from 1 to 5 and
from 7 to 10 p.m. Additional in-
