A family dinner honoring the 25th wedding anniversary of
Mr. and Mrs. S. Plafkin, of 3746 Humphrey, will be tendered
Sunday, at the couple's home by Mr. and Mrs. M. Plafkin, of

Mr. and Mrs. David Liebow, of 3210 Ewald Circle, will be at
home on Sunday in honor of the graduation of their son, Jerome,
from the University of Michigan college of engineering. No cards.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bayer of Birwood Ave. will entertain at a
garden party in honor of the graduation of their nephew, Alvin
M. Slafkin, son . of Mr. and. Mrs. Sam Slafkin, from the. Detroit
Institute of Technology, College of Pharmacy. The affair will be
held on Saturday with a cocktail hour and supper at midnight.
Dennis Aaron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Aaron, of North-
lawn Ave., will graduate on Saturday from the University of
Michigan college of business administration.
Marshall D. Hershon, son of Mr. Barney Hershon, of Flint,
Mich., will receive his BA degree from the University of Michigan
on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. Mandell, of 20051 Freeland, will hold
an open house reception, from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday in honor of the
graduation of their sons, Gerald and Seymour. Gerald is gradu-
ating from the Wayne University Medical School, and Seymour
will get his degree in architecture from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Pollens, who is graduating first in his class, is a member of
Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa fraternities. He will
intern in Detroit at Receiving Hospital.
Attending the fifth annual conference of the National Wom-
en's Committee of Brandeis University, June 14-17, in Waltham,
Mass., will be the following Detroit delegates: Mesdames Samuel
S. Aaron, George Golanty, Leo Mellen, James Wineman and
Oscar Zemon.

The Council of Mothers' Clubs
will open its camp on Lake Hu-
ron on June 28, with registra-
tions currently being accepted
from 5 to 10 p.m., weekdays at
the Davison Jewsh Center.
The Camp adheres to a pro-
gram of dietary law observance.
Outdoor movies are part of the
recreational program.
During the first camp week,
June 28 to July 5, husbands and
wives will be admitted. Couples

will also be able to attend the
last week, Aug. 30 to Sept. 7,

children under eight.
