NEW YORK, (JTA) — Dr.
Milton Rosenbaum, professor of
psychiatry at the University of
Cincinnati College of Medicine
and one of the nation's fore-
most psychiatric teachers, left
for Israel . to establish a De-
partment of Psychiatry at the
He b r e w University - Hadassah
Medical School, announced Mrs.
Samuel J. Rosensohn, national
president of Hadassah, and Dr.
George S. Wise, president of the
American Friends of the Hebrew
University.

The Jewish Parents Institute
of the Jewish Community Cen-
ter will conclude its season with
the presentation. of "The JPI
Story," an hour-long musical, re-
vue.
Over 30 people will be in the
cast of the production, to be
held at 8:45 p.m., Monday, at
the Davison Center. Through
music, drama, sketches and nar-
rative, the revue portrays the
birth and development of JPI.
New officers of JPI are Mrs.
Morris Cole, president; Dr._ Ray-
mond Rose, vice-president; Mrs.
Sidney Verier, secretary; and
Mrs. Louis Siefer, treasurer.
A post-season event, one of
many summer activities, slated
by the organization, will be held
June 12 and 13, at Camp Tam-
arack. Consisting of a family
outing, the program will consti-
tute JPI's first experiment in
family camping.
The group's Children's. Clubs
recently ended its program with
the presentation of an original
musical revue, "The Detroit
Jewish Community."

The Jewish Community Cen-
ter Symphony Orchestra, Julius
Chajes conducting, will be pre-
sented at the third annual Arts
Festival Concert at the Cran-
brook School Auditorium at 5
p.m., Sunday. Guest solist will
be Estelle Pappas, young Detroit
pianist, and Norma Heyde, •Ann
Arbor soprano.
The program will include
Weber's Eurante Overture and
Mozart's Symphony in G Minor
No. 40. Miss Pappas will perform
Rachmaninoff's Piano Concer-
to in C Minor No. 2, and Miss
Heyde will sing arias from "The
Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart
and "The Bat" by Strauss.
