and Mrs. Nathaniel Weinberger,
of Uniontown, Pa., announce the
forthcoming marriage, on June
21, of their daughter, Lillian,
to Milton Weiss, son of Mrs. Ida
Weiss, of Dexter Ave., and the
late Mr. Alexander Weiss. The
bride-elect is a nurse. Mr, Weiss
recently returned from Ger-
many. Following a honeymoon
in Miami, Fla., the couple 'will
reside on Pallister Ave.

To City of Hope Parley

In a double ring ceremony at
her home on May 10, Miss Hil-
lary Rott, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. David Rott, former Detroit-
ers, now of Miami Beach, Fla.,
became the bride of Hal Burns,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Burnstein, of Indianapolis, Ind.
Rabbi Irving Lehrman offici-
ated.
The bride wore a white or-
gandy, waltz -length gown,
styled with an embroidered bod-
ice and full fan-pleated skirt.
Her off-face hat of embroidered
organdy was trimmed with yel-
low velvet ribbon and a nose
veil. She carried a bouquet of
white orchids and shasta daisies.
Mrs. Harold W. Frohman, the
bridegroom's sister from Colum-
bus, Ind., was matron of honor,
and Leo Mark, of Miami Beach,
was best man.
Detroiters attending the wed-
ding included Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Lewis, the bride's ma-
ternal grandparents, and Mrs.
A. G. Rosenthal, who brought a
strand of cultured pearls worn
by the bride at the ceremony.
The couple will reside at 809
Venetian Way, Miami Beach,
following their return from a
honeymoon to Puerto Rico and
the Virgin Islands.

love and Milton E. Goldberg

Arabs Blacklist German
Firms Dealing With Israel

COLOGNE, (JTA) — Saudi
Arabia and Syria have drawn
up a list of 98 German firms to
be boycotted by the Arabs in
retaliation for the West German
G o v e r nment's implementation
of the reparations agreement
with Israel, the most widely-
read German news magazine,
"Der Spiegel," reported.

Detroit Business Men's Group of
the City of Hope, Harry Gold-
berg, Russell Nida and Eugene
Epstein were named delegates to
the July convention of the so-
ciety in Los Angeles. While
there for the parley, the repre-
sentatives will visit the institu-
tion at nearby Duarte, Calif.
The Business Men's Group will
meet on June 11, at Holiday
Manor with City of Hope Auxil-
iary and City of Hope Cancer
Fighters to set Detroit area pol-
icy for all three groups aiding
the California institution.
