At its annual luncheon meet-
ing on Monday, at the Sheraton-
Cadillac Hotel, National Council
of JeWish Women announced
its officers for the coming year.
They are:
Mesdames Daniel Krouse,
president; Jerome G. Grossman,
executive vice-president; I. Irv-
ing Bittker, Victor Shiffman,
Major Siegel and Saul Glueck-
man, vice-presidents; Maier B.
Finsterwald, treasurer; and Ga-
briel 'Alexander, Charles Ru-
biner, Nathan Schermer, Samuel
S. Willis and Carl Wois, secre-
taries.
At the meeting, it was an--
nounced that a record high of
$3500 was recorded for one
month's sales in the Council's
two Re-Sale Shops, the organi-
zation's main source of funds.
Following the business meet-1
ing, a musical review, "The
Councileers," was presented to
the music of Gilbert and Sulli-
van, with new words by Mes-
dames Hersch Kreger and Leon-
ard, Wiener. Mrs. Harold
Schakne was the director, and
Mrs. Leonard Birndorf supplied
the piano accompaniment.

Club Plans Breakfast
The Ban Mitzvah Club of Adas
Shalom Synagogue will climax
its fifth season with a special
father and son breakfast this
Sunday. The boys and their fa-
thers will meet at 8:15 a.m. in
the small chapel for services,
followed by breakfast at 9 a.m.
in the social hall.
The Sisterhood hostess com-
mittee, headed by Mesdames Al-
fred • Hecker, chairman, and
Irving Bolton, co-chairman,
will serve the breakfast.
Special tribute will be paid to
boys who have regularly attend-
ed functions of the group dur-
ing the past five years. Rabbi
Jacob E. Segal. directs club ac-
tivities.
