Folk Chorus Dedicates
Concert to Ghetto Life

The 28th annual concert of
the Detroit Jewish Folk Chorus
will this year be dedicated to
the memory of the heroes of the
Warsaw Ghetto struggle against
the Nazis 10 years ago.
The program will be held May
24, at Scottish Rite Cathedral
of Masonic Temple, under the
baton of Henri Goldberg, con-
ductor. Sheldon Sandweiss will
be accompanist.
The cantata, "Lublin," set to
the music of N. Samaroff, will
be presented for the first time
in Detroit. Sonny Vale's "My
Glorious Brothers," will be the
other featured composition. A
selection of Ghetto songs will
complete the program.
