MISS EVE GUTTENBERG

Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Azim-
Bff, of Clements Ave., announce
the engagement of their grand-
daughter, Eve Lucille Gutenberg,
to Kenneth C. Shulak, son of
Mr. and Mrs. William Shulak,
6f Fairfield Ave.

Jerusalem, the focal point of
Jewish thoughts for many cen.7
tunes, will be the theme of a
pageant, planned by Habonim
members in celebration of the
city's 3,000th anniversary
The program, to be held at
8:15 p.m., May 2, in the Central
High School auditorium, follows
Jewish life' through the period
of the Holy Temple, its destruc-
tion, the exile, the return and
the creation of modern Israel.
The manifold qualities which
have made Jerusalem more than
a spot on the map or a sacred
word will be developed in song
and narrative as the pageant
unfolds.
Emphasis has been placed on
Israeli folk songs and dances,
with most of the choreography
and choral work composed es-
pecially for this observance. The
script was taken from the Bible
and such great Hebrew writers
as Bialik.
The public is invited to at-
tend the pageant. For tickets,
