Call City-Wide Meeting
As Memorial Tribute
To Late Dr. Greenberg

A city-wide gathering, called
to honor the memory of the late
scholar and Zionist leader, Dr.
Hayim Greenberg, will be held
at 8:30 p. m., Thursday, at the
Labor Zionist Institute, 13722
Linwood.
Principal speakers at the pro-
gram will be Pinchas Cruso,
member of the Labor Zionist
central committee of New York
and personal friend of Dr.
Greenberg, and Rabbi Morris
Adler, who will deliver the eulo-
gy. A musical program will be
rendered by a local cantor, and-
Rebecca Frohman will play sev-
eral piano selections.
The program is arranged by
the Labor Zionist Organization,
the Fa r b and and Pioneer
Women.
Dr. Greenberg, editor of "Jew-
ish Frontier," "Yiddish Kemfer"
and co-editor of the Hebrew
monthly "Bitzaron," was a lead-
ing figure in Jewish life as a
scholar, orator and worker.

To Hold Oneg Shabbat

An oneg shabbat will be held
by Adas Shalom Sisterhood at
2 p. m., Saturday, in the home
of Mrs. Rudolph Shulman, 17555
