six-week vacation in Miami Beach, Fla.

Dr. and Mrs. Marvin Schwartz, of Portland, Ore., recently
visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Schwartz, of Monica
Ave., while en route to the convention of the American Heart
Association in Atlantic City, N. J.
Mr. and Mrs. William M. Stark, of Waverly Ave., have left for
a month's vacation in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Louis Arnoff and son, Warren, of Park Forest, Ill., are
in Detroit visiting with Mrs. Arnoff's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry
- Goldberg, of Pingree Ave.
Molly Cohen, of Toronto, Ont, was the recent house guest of
-Mr. and Mrs. Dave Hertz at their winter home in Miami Beach,
Fla.
Elliott Schubiner has returned from a five-week trip to Eu-
rope, Israel and Africa. After sailing to London aboard the Ile
De France, he made the rest of the trip by air.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris P. Cohen and daughters, Rose Ellen and
Ilene, formerly of Webb Ave., are now in their new home at 25695
York, Huntington Woods.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman R. Finkelstein and family are now re-
- siding in their new home at 24250 Eastwood, Oak Park.
The Misses Marian Schneider and Ellen Siegel, both of Appo-
line Ave., were recent house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Reisner
(Peggy Gassel, formerly of Detroit), of Brooklyn, N. Y.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Gurwin have returned from an extended
trip to Eldorado, Tucson and Los Angeles. After a few days here

To Appear Here in Two Lectures

Two lectures will be delivered
by P r o f. Fishel Schneurson,
editor of Israel's educational
quarterly magazine "Chinuch,"
this week, under sponsorship of
Hebrew Teacher's Association of
United Hebrew Schools, Kvutzah
Ivrith, Sholeni Aleichem Insti-
tute and Workmen's Circle
School.
The first lecture, in Hebrew,
will be presented Saturday eve-
ning, at the Rose Sittig Cohen
Bldg. auditorium. Prof. Schneur-
son's second talk will be held
Monday evening, at the Work-
men's Circle Center, 11529 Lin-

wood. This lecture will be in
Yiddish.
Besides his literary endeavors,
which include books in Hebrew
and English, Prof. Schneurson
is chief child psychologist of the
Tel Aviv Municipality and head
of the Tel Aviv City Depart
ment of Problem Children.
His books have been trans-
lated into many languages.
