Collect Israel Supplies
At Hadassah Showers

Clothing and linens urgently
needed in Israel will be collected
at the annual supplies showers
to be held by Detroit chapter of
Hadassah groups at 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday.

group will meet at 8:15 p.m.
Mrs. Samuel Serling, Chapter
chairman of the supplies project,
states that large blankets,
sheets, diapers, under w e a r,
skirts and dresses are needed in
Israel. Another feature of the
group meetings will be child
welfare luncheons. Proceeds will
go to support the Israeli school
luncheon and nutrition program
which f e e d s 50,000 children
daily.
Payment for a luncheon en-
titles members to a child's in-
scription in the "Book of Life."
For a small donation additional
inscriptions may be made.
