Mr. and Mrs. Donald Krupp (Marcia Alper), of 17545 Meyers,
announce the adoption of a son, Barry Lowell, born March 12.
Mk. and Mrs. Al Lusky were tendered a dinner by Mr. and
Mrs. Isidore Sosnick, of Broadstreet Blvd., on the Lusky's 25th
wedding anniversary. Among those present were Louise, Seymour
and Herman Lusky, the Louis Gruskins and daughter, Irene, the
Marvin Leveys .and family, the Louis Grossman, J. C. Sosnick,
Harriet Sosnick, Mrs. Esther Rubinstein and daughter, Sheila.
Mrs. Anna Stearns and Mrs. Sylvia Oppenheimer, of Ilene
Ave., left on March 25 on the U.S. S. United States for a two-
month tour, which includes stops in England, France, Switzerland
and Italy.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kaplan, of Woodingham Dr., are spending
the Passover holidays at the Colonial Hotel, Mt. Clemens.
Dr. and Mrs. David Ruskin, of Rochester, Minn., are in Detroit
visiting their parents, Dr. and Mrs. Harry Ruskin, of Normandy
Rd., and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Mandell, of Pennington Dr.
Jean Jaslove, soprano, and Jack Bazell, bass, will present a
recital of vocal music at 8:30 p. m., Wednesday, in the Lecture
Hall of the Detroit Institute of Arts. The first half of the program
will include two duets from "Don Giovanni." Miss Jaslove will open
the second half of the program with songs by Debussy, Faure,
Chausson and Bachelet. Bazell will conclude the evening, by
rendering a cycle of songs by Mussorgsky. Tickets may be pur-
chased at Grinnell Brothers, by calling UN. 4-2373 or at the- door.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Goldman (Eileen Ferentz) announce the
adoption of a son, Steven Jay, born March 17.
Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Karbal, of Stratford Rd., have as their
house guests their children, Mr. and Mrs. David Sklar and son,
Dyrol Steven, of Norfolk, Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Schwartz, of Monica Ave., have returned
home after an extended vacation in Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Field returned last week from a several
weeks' visit in California, New Mexico and Nevada.
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Firestone were honored by Arlazaroff branch
of the Jewish National Workers Alliance on their 25th wedding
anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Jacque Bakerman are spending their honeymoon
at the Algiers in Miami Beach.
Miss Judy Michaelson, of Fairfield Ave., is spending her spring
vacation from Ohio State University in Miami Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green (Carolyn Lou Brown) have re-
turned from a month's honeymoon in Miami Beach, Fla., and are
at home at 825 Whitmore.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron A. Silberblatt, former Detroiters now of
Miami, Fla., are - visiting their children, the Alton Dreayer's, of
Orlando, Fla., for the Passover holidays.

annual Children's Theater Party
of Detroit Chapter of Hadassah,
to be held at 1 p.m., Thursday,
at t h e Avalon Theater, an-
nounces Mrs. Maurice Reistman,

A magician, Cedric of London,
Cowboy Colt of WXYZ-TV, Son-
ny Elliott, ventriloquist of WWJ-
TV, Marion Gelb & Earl, dancers
Lou Krueger, accordionist, mov-

the highlights of what is ex-
pected to be the biggest party
ever held.
