In a ceremony on March 22 at
the Park Shelton Hotel, Helen
Salk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Salk, of 4333 Glendale,
was joined in marriage by Rabbi
Leon Fram, to Leonard H. Deve-
now of Toledo, 0., son of Mr.
and Mrs. Samuel Devenow, of
Sherbourne Rd.
The bride wore a floor-length
gown of alencon lace and nylon
tulle, featured by a sweetheart
neckline and bodice and skirt of
matching lace with a deep ruffle
of pleated nylon tulle. She car-
ried a bouquet of gardenias.
Mrs. Harvey Barnett was ma-
tron of honor, and Lillian Siegel
and Rosalind Moss were brides-
maids. Chester Devenow was
best man, and ushers included
Gerald Salk, Harvey Barnett and
Edward Fax.
Following a reception at the
hotel, the couple left on a Flor-
ida honeymoon. On their return
they will reside in Toledo.

relations among Israel's youth
and the youth of the Diaspora
has been expanded by Keren
Hayesod, the Foundation and
Settlement Fund of Israel.
Begun three years ago, the
plan is to send flowers of Israel
to youth outside the country.
The flowers will be picked during
Israel's short spring season,
around Israel Independence Day.
The flowers will be preserved
and placed on cards bearing
their names and sent to youths
outside the new state. Those
wishing to receive a flower
