WHOLESALE BEEF

Best Wishes on Passover

By N. E. ARONSTAM, M.D.
"Meneh, Meneh, Tekel Upharsin"
—Dan 5:25
Seest thou the writing on the
wall?
Kenst thou the writ inscribed
thereon?
Thou blind transgressor of a
Higher Will,
Kenst thou the import of thy
thrall
That draws thee to the ultimate,
Which history metes out to
thee?
"Meneh, Meneh"—thy rule is
brief,
And counted are thy years and
days.
"Tekel" — in the balance thou
art weighed,
"Upharsin"—thy mighty empire
Shall be rent asunder and —
collapse.
Thou shalt not escape;
"The Rune is cast—the Rune is
cast!"
