Hack Correction

In. the story on former De-
troiter Nathan Hack in the
March 13 edition of The Jewish
News, it was erroneously stated
that he came to Detroit in 1908.
Actually, Mr. Hack came here in
1900, and was married in 1906.

It may be that Israelis are
avid readers, or it is possible
that they appreciate a good
author. More than likely in the
case of Miriam Selker Dodek it's
a combination of both. For,
within two weeks after her book,
"Yeor Haplaim," hit the Israel
bookstands, it was a complete
sell-out.
