Arthur Lyons, son of Mr. and

Ave. The ceremony was solemn-
ized at the Narragansett Hotel,
in Providence. The bride's sis-
ter, Elaine Spindell, was matron
of honor, and Lee Lyons, broth-
er of the bridegroom, was best
man.

BETH ABRAHAM MEN'S
CLUB will meet at 8:45 p.m.,
Tuesday, in the synagogue. Prep-
arations for the annual joint
model seder, held in conjunction
with the 'Women's Club, will be
made.

SHAAREY ZEDEK MEN'S
CLUB will hold a paid-up mem-
bership square dance at 9 p.m.,
March 7, in the synagogue's so-
cial hall. Guests will include
delegates attending the Great
Lakes Regional Conference of
Na tional Federation of Jewish
Men's Clubs. The Sisterhood will
act..as hostesses. Co-chairmen of
the event are. Joseph Snider and
I. Murray Jacobs. They are as-
sisted by Dr. Henry Berris, Max
Bonin, Dr. Max Hoffman, Oscar
Kramer, William Nadler, Harold
Noveck, George Parzen, Abra-
ham Satovsky; Carl Schiller,
Jack Warner and Leo Weiner.

MOGEN ABRAHAM MEN'S
CLUB will meet at 9 -a.m., Sun-
day, in the synagogue. The
complete Purim service, begin-
ning with the Megillah r will be
conducted. A brunch and pro-
gram will follow.

Detroit Graduate Chapter of
TAU EPSILON RHO, interna-
tional legal fraternity, -recently
elected the following officers for
1953: Norman W. Feder, chan-
cellor; Philip M. Schreiber, vice-
chancellor; Albert A. Kramer,
master of rolls; and Jack Schon,
bursar.

met at Sinai Hospital to map
strategy for their phase of the

Local Men to Organize
Regional NFMC Body

Rabbi Joel S. Geffen, of New
York, spiritual advisor of the
National Federation of Men's
Clubs, will be in Detroit the
weekend of March 6 to help
organize the Great Lakes Region
of NFMC.
The principal meeting • will be
held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,
Sunday, at Shaarey Zedek. Par-
ticipants will include Rabbi
Morris Adler, who will deliver
opening remarks, Rabbi Geffen,
Sol Panush, of Cong. Beth
lAaron, speaking on "SoUrces of
Program."
Other talks will be delivered
by Herman S. Avrin, of Adas
Shalom Synagogue, on "Pitfalls
to Avoid" ' and "Programs of
Small Budgets," and by Edward
Robinson, of Shaarey Zedek, on
"Kibbutz."
Discussions and an election of
officers will follow. A brunch
will be served by the Men's
Clubs of Shaarey Zedek and
Adas Shalom.
While here, Rabbi Geffen will
speak at late sabbath eve serv-
ices of Adas Shalom on March
6 when delegates from out-state
will attend.
A dance will be held at 9
p.m., March 7, as part of the
weekend activities. Delegates
from the Michigan area are in-
vited to all sessions at no charge.
