Hotel, became the bride of Roger
Leigh Daniels, son of the Albert
Daniels', of Renfrew Rd. Rabbi
Adler officiated.
Bernice Reinheimer, the bride's
sister, was matron of honor, and
bridemaids were Roberta Snyder,
Doris Ruskin and Beverly Dunn.
Loren Daniels, brother of the
bridegroom, was best man. Ush-
ers were Ronald Goldstone. Her-
bert Schreiber and Alan Rein-
heimer.
The bride's gown was of chan-
tilly lace over satin, with fitted
bodice fashioned by a portrait
neckline and edged with a satin
strip. Inserts of the satin were
placed at the side of the full
skirt, which ended in a formal
train. Her fingertip veil fell
from a cap of imported heirloom
lace. She carried a 'satin prayer
book covered with white orchids
and streamers of stephanotis.
The couple left on a South
American cruise following a re-
ception. They will reside on Bur-
ton Rd., in Oak Park when they
return.

Bnai Brith Launches Membership Drive ;
Chapters Plan `Operation Womanpower'
Members of 19 eonstituent
chapters of the Greater Detroit
Bnai Brith Women's Council are
continuing t heir "operation
womanpower" membership cam-
paign, which will be climaxed at
a city-wide affair on March 7,
honoring the women bringing
in the most members.
Mrs. Alfred Laikin, overall
membership chairman for the
Council, explains that "operation
womanpower" means that "ev-
ery woman has many roles—in
the family, in business, in com-
munity and world affairs."
All local chapters are current-
ly 'holding membership teas to
help acquaint Detroit women
with the work Bnai Brith per-
forms in strengthening the na-
tion and Judaism, in training
youth, in serving humanity and
in many other fields.
Chapters planning activities

Begin Making Sulphuric Acid
Production of sulphuric acid
is expected to begin at the Fer-
tilizers and Chemicals plant at
Haifa next month. A large sav-
ing in production costs and for-
eign currency will result from
domestic production. It was re-
ported also that the production
of superphosphates at the Haifa
plant is being increased from
2,000 to 8,000 tons a month.
