dent-elect Dwight Eisenhower
has asked the Jewish National
Fund of America to convey his
thanks to Mrs. Sarah Goodman
of San Francisco who made ar-
rangements on the day after
Gen Eisenhower's election to
have a tree planted in Israel in
his honor. The letter to the JNF
asked that the President-Elect's
appreciation be conveyed to Mrs.
Goodman "for her thoughtful-
ness." - •
