WA Florida Parley
To View Iron Curtain
Jew ry's Emergency

In an exclusive interview with
press correspondent Paul Rubin-
stein, Stephen Klein, preSident
of Barton's Bonbonniere, ra-
diated the energetic warmth
that has permitted him to be-
come a successful businesSman
as well as a leading philan-
thropist.
In the short period - of 12
years, Klein de-
veloped his one
store in New
York to a chain
of 55 stores in
New York, Ne-
wark, Philadel-
phia and De-
troit. Over 1,000
employees keep
the Barton plant
e r ating day
Klein
and night.
Klein has developed a new
marshmallow confection, which
like all other Barton's candies
is strictly kosher. The marsh-
mallows are parve, and may be
enjoyed as dessert in the most
observant Jewish hoMe.
Rubstenstein relates that
while sitting in his office, the
phone rang constantly, with at
least half of the calls concern-
ing form-of public welfare,
not related to business.
Klein is associated with Herb-
ert Tenzer, his partner, and five
brothers. Their ultimate goal is
to produce the finest quality
product that meets the special
needs of - the Kosher Jewish
home, and, at the same time,
pleases the general public.
